Farmers & Fishers Joins Tap Water Movement

Natura SystemWhen Farmers & Fishers launched it added all sorts of new equipment and systems to the restaurant, but one we haven’t said much about is our tap water system. We’ve always used a Natura system to produce fresh, clean water. The machine filters the water without the use of chemicals and serves the water three ways: room temperature, chilled, or sparkling.

This means the great water carafes on your table have just been filled by your server and have never seen a bottle—creating no waste from emptied bottles, requiring no recycling of fancy bottled waters, and requiring no carbon offsets for the water’s transportation. Recently, Tack Back the Tap contacted us to join them in their effort to reduce the use of bottled water. Since we’ve been doing it from day one, we immediately signed up!

Check out their information on the reasons behind their movement and join their efforts.
